mandelbrot idle Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information mandelbrot idle (“the game”) collects and how it is used. In short: there are no accounts, your progress stays on your device and in your own iCloud, and the only third parties involved are Google (for optional ads) and Apple (for purchases).

No accounts

The game does not have accounts or sign-in. We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other contact details while you play.

Your saved game

Your progress is saved on your device. If iCloud is turned on, the game also syncs your save to your own iCloud account so it can be restored on your other devices or after reinstalling. This data is stored by Apple under your Apple Account and is not sent to us. Apple's handling of iCloud data is covered by the Apple Privacy Policy.

Optional rewarded ads (Google AdMob)

The game uses Google AdMob to offer optional rewarded ads: you choose whether to watch an ad in exchange for an in-game reward. Ads are never required to play.

The game only shows non-personalized ads. It does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, does not ask for permission to track, and does not give AdMob your device's advertising identifier.

To deliver ads, limit how often you see the same one, measure how ads perform, and prevent fraud, the AdMob software in the game may still collect limited information such as your IP address, device type, operating system version, and how you interact with ads. This is not used to personalize the ads you see.

Purchases (Apple)

In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. The game only receives confirmation from Apple of what was purchased so it can unlock it. See the Apple Privacy Policy.

What we don't do

• We don't run our own servers for the game or collect analytics of our own.
• We don't sell your information.

Deleting your data

Deleting the game removes the save from your device. To also remove the iCloud copy, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Account Storage (or Manage Storage), find mandelbrot idle, and delete its data.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
